Not a fan of it personally.. why the change? I kinda liked it all being separate. Now it's just all jumbled together and fans of certain genre's won't see good threads that are made that might interest them because by the time they come on the forums, they're all fallen behind because of the all the blink/greenday threads. Just my "feedback". What does everyone else think? Lock this if you must...

How? It's for discussion of bands. If you think a band should be discussed - nominate an "official" thread. And that will always be the first post. So all threads will stay relevant.

Before it was more of a "serious" place to talk about music. Hardcore fans could go into the hardcore section and discuss their bands, same with hip-hop, punk, emo, etc.. now its all blink/greenday/etc threads.. It felt more like a music based site because there were different genre choices and just more. Now it feels more like a music lifestyle forum. It's just over run with kids now and isn't fun/entertaining as much anymore. I love the site Jason, but that was one of the best parts which is now gone. Oh well..

if you never liked the music forums, arent they just as easily avoided in seperate genres as they are in one big forum?
