Action Action (http://www.absolutepunk.net/actionaction) have posted the following bulletin on myspace.
We want to address the many rumors flying around about us and Victory Records.

After our last album, An Army Of Shapes Between Wars, our contract was complete with Victory and so it is time to move on. We truly appreciate everything the staff at Victory did for us throughout the years and will always remember the good times we had at Victory.

In 2007 we will be going back into the studio (not breaking up like some of the horrible rumors are saying) to record our 3rd album. So with that said, stay tuned, keep a look out and keep supporting us because we're very excited about what the future holds!!

Because they probably didn't want to sign a multi-record deal.

Just because they had a good time with Victory doesn't mean they want to suck Tony Brummel's dick for their entire career.

I actually thought their second one was 20x more realized than their debut. Fabric... was just a collage of dancey songs, but An Army kept a similar tone throughout.

was the count the stars contract combined with the AA contract? Maybe thats why the contract for aa was so short.

I heard victory wasnt such a band friendly label. Perhaps they're just looking for a better one. Not to say that Victory isn't a great label, just saying maybe it's not what they're looking for right now. Totally understandable.

Best of wishes guys.

They all had indivual contracts, mark from the reunion show, adam and clarke from CTS, and dan leo has his own.

Completely agree. I reviewed both for UBM and I don't believe I was very nice to Fabric.

victory have a deal that when a band breaks up, all bands that come out of that will be under victory.

and it seems like they all sign dual record deals, like thursday, straylight, and such.
