you should only talk between bands, not while they play. it's very inpolite, and if it must be done, leave the room, hold it in, or walk to the back. you're only going to be yelling over the band if you're "talking" anyways.

Cartel is officially on the decline for me. Jingle Bell Bash is a joke of show. Acts like JoJo, Destinys Child, Ashlee Simpson-like acts typically rule this crap event then they throw a few "no names" to round it up. KISS 106.1 is a joke. If Cartel had any idea they'd beg stations like this not to play their music since it's listeners are most likely an average of 15 years old. Of course they wont pass on the pub and $$$ though.
