A place where we discuss interpretations of some people's songs. I knew we all take them. Instead of saying "this sucks" or "this is good" lets try to find out what stuff means... I mean, obviously help people and tell people what you think of their piece, but we should also be doing this. Isn't that what writing is for?

I agree, but half the time, with the awful ones, I have no idea what they're talking about.

I always do it, but I don't really care if people tell me what they think of my work or not, because I will never tell anyone anything about my poetry or lyrics, unless it is in the poem itself. (Occasionally I'll point out a line, but nothing more than that.)

I think it would also be interesting to discuss songs already written, and our personal interpretations. Like, what we like and dislike about already established songwriters' work? Or am I not making sense, haha?

Some of them have no idea what they're talking about though. They just throw together words and try to sound cool, or they have a shallow, pointless meaning. I agree with you, but those are pretty easy to pick out. So while I'll try to get to the meaning of other songs, I have no shame in correcting the ones i pointed out before.

I've been here for a long time, and you and I both know these things. Just ignore those... you'll know which ones don't need interpretation... help the ones that don't. Actually, even help the ones you do try to interpret. Everyone could use some help.

Haha I was just pointing out that I won't be "helping" very much. Only if it's very good will I be considering interpreting it. Otherwise, it's going to be more of the same.
