The Record stands at 5,084( I think) and Brees has 4,034. With three games left think Brees can break it?

he got 350 against carolina once already.
the giants got the 29th rnaked pass defense (ooooof) so yeah, thats prolly another 350
and washington is 22nd ranked pass defense... so i dont know. its possible but i doubt it.

i dont think he will break the record, although with the remainder of thier schedule, it is possible.

i think it would be a little strange (not that brees isnt a great QB, because he is) i just think that out of all the great QBs (Marino, Montana, Elway, Manning..etc) Brees holding the record for most yards in a single season would look wierd to me. (but if he breaks it, he deserves the spot and proved he deserved it) but still...

i think he'll have a shot but will just fall short. It depends on if the Saints playoff spot is wrapped up by week 17, if it is i dont see brees playing the whole game. But it would be interesting if its within reach of Payton lets him try and get it or not. I say if its close and playoff spot isnt in question, have Brees play the 1st quarter and be a complete gunslinger

his career isnt even close to being over yet so he could end up being better than those QB's. It just looks weird cause he hasn't played for 20 years.

he doesn't get it...but he'll be right behind LT for MVP. Can you imagine if in some world those two played on the same team? Crazy, I know...but still....

Being a Giant fan, I feel like he is going to have a monset 400+ yard game against us... couple that with 2 easy 300 yard+ games other than the G-Men, and I think he is set.

I love Dan, but Drew is a good guy and I think he deserves it.
