so, i had the idea the other day to start up a website to get young people more involved in politics and social agendas. i also wanted to get musicians (rock, hip-hop, doesn't matter) to get behind it too..have contests, news, and profiles.
my aim is to inform rather than promote either side of an issue...
so a couple of questions i wanted to pass on to all of you...

what kind of features would you like to see?
would you visit a site like that.
would you go to concerts that promoted political involvement

i would let the forums be totally open...

but for the site itself, i want to have it totally bi-partisan (ideally opposing view on everything). and have it more of a political information site.

but the musician's part would more or less but figure heads... but i would love to have some support...

It isn't about where you stand politically, nor is it about how horrible Bush has been as president. I'd be interested in a site like the one you are describing, and if done right, I would visit it often. But, your credibility takes a major blow when you are taking shots prior to even beginning the site.

for the main site news... in no way opinions would trump facts... i like i said i would also love to have opposing view on every topic...
