i live in orange county california......we have a great music scene out here. i just went and saw my boyfriends band and several others rip it up at this bar......the orange scene has grown and there are some really good bands out here. i've noticed there are a lot of female lead signers ( yeah girls)!

no offense to you or anything, im seriously just trying to help you out, but you are a terrible speller. the only word i will correct for you is "scene". anyways, to answer your question, yeah my area's got lots of wicked local bands and there is always good shows going on from all the bands around here. thats usually where i am. lots of clubs, well not clubs but awesome venues and tons of bands around here. we're home to bands like not by choice, sum 41 etc. even though im not a big fan of those two, its cool because it seems every local band around here is REALLY good.

We have a kick ass scene! There's this band called Watershed, and they are awesome. My city has tons of punk bands, like my friends band, Point Of View. OSU has some good bands. You know, the college kids doing their thing. We get great bands rolling thru this city.

we have the best scene in Europe here in Switzerland. Im not kidding either. its damn great. theres something for everyone....there are countless ska bands but none of em are that good apart from a band called 3 feet cat. they own.
theres a big hardcore and punk scene which is flourishing
tastes like chicken (will be called Black Market Crash soon)
Bodybag
Hateful Monday
those 3 are the best bands in the area

Because I was going to say pretty much the same thing as him, and there wouldn't be a point to me writing a new repsonse if it was going to have the exact same point.

ya man were i live its nice but u go down the road and its little mexico and im not being mean but it is and all of them own a buliding with nothing to do with so bands will rent a 6 hour time slot for 425$ and promote the hell out of it and every once in a while we have a killer battle of the bands its just a grand old time
I live in Jersey. It's fucking amazing. We have multiple shows near me every single night. The hardcore/punk/indie/emo/ska scenes are all really strong. I don't know why our scene is so good, but I'm glad it is.
