He is getting my vote. I hope to God that he wins. He is one of the few politicians that I actually consider to be honest and trust worthy in this country....

I like alot of what he has to say. His view on the death penalty is better than our current presidents, however, I don't think its a good form of punishment. I'd prefer it if he was against it all together.

most people dont understand the death penalty and how truley fucked up it is, so if he came out saying he was gunna get rid of it he would lose alot of votes.

I sure hope he wins the Democratic nomination. He's so far to the left, he won't stand a chance against Bush.

howard dean is the only democrat who isnt some jackass moderate... if i could vote in the next election, i would definitely vote for him. i really think dean would be a kcikass president.

bush has a lower economic approval then his dad. the economy is always the biggest issue. his dad lsot his election. bush has also managed to ruin his iraq platform....

the thought of bush as the most powerful man in the world for another 4 years is more than a little unnerving

A lot of Americans are stupid and misinformed. So they will vote stupidly, and misinformed. I do think that Bush will be re-elected.
However, I will be 18 by the time elections roll around, and I won't be voting for Bush.

*claps*. Thank god.

I'm going to miss the election by ONE FUCKING WEEK. My 18th b-day is one week after election day. That's really pissing me off. One less vote against bush. Dammit.

"His being called a liberal is one of the great white lies of the campaign," said Tom Salmon, a fellow Democrat and governor of Vermont for two terms during the Nixon-Ford era. "He's a rock-solid fiscal conservative," Salmon said, "and a liberal on key social issues. But we're talking key issues."

Dean says he doesn't mind being called a liberal and welcomes progressives to the campaign. ("I'd be delighted if the Greens supported me!") But he chuckles at the liberal label, considering that "I am probably the most conservative of the candidates when it comes to gun control." It's a states issue, he says, and his state, with its low crime rate, doesn't need it.

"I think it's pathetic that I'm considered the left-wing liberal," Dean said. "It shows just how far to the right this country has lurched."

recessions start.........1 1/2 to 2 years before they are noticed by the public..........so that would mean that this one started under who's watch?

second the president does'n't have as much say in the economy as the people in congress..................

third, i didn't have much of a problem administratively with clinton, as i did with his personal actions...........i think stan/brandnew would see him as more of the opressive type............

ugh, it sucks being so far away from voting. but i do the best i can. around election time, im one of those annoying people that call your house at the most inopportune moments to remind you to vote. as for ole howard, i read an article in the newspaper today that he is well on his way to earning enough money to be a viable competitor in this upcoming election. i learned something new today too, that the gov't matches, up to $250 any campaign donation. which means that since dean has so many contributors that donated relatively small amounts ($250 or less, which is small when other candidates are getting thousands from corporations and/or private citizens from dinner parties including a $2000/plate dinner cheney had here in akron) that he will be getting more money from the gov't. and money really is key in elections, sad to say not just anybody can run for office.

it would be a scary day when this man is considered a moderate..............heres my favorite quote.........

"It is time for the President to stop using code words that divide Americans by race, gender, income and sexual orientation. "

.......when, right or wrong, this is exactly what AA does.............
