I woke to crashing waves, cool sand, and the
Heart of a humming bird beating at the speed of light
With so much beauty before me memories
Of you are driving me mad
I invited the man who walks his dog to join me
In my insanity but he knew this place far to well
It was as familar as sinking ceilings and
Bleeding walls, the things that terrify the fant of heart
Are common place seen through our eyes
My head as scattered as the shadow of the
Confused sea gull walking towards me
I can't tell which is more numb, my head or feet
I can smell the salt in the breeze just as
I still smell your hair
I can still feel the warmth of the aurora to come
Just as I feel your breath on my neck
But the only thing that I can be sure of
Is where the cool sand ends, the ocean begins
Whom do I think I am kidding when
The fruit of our passion has begun to turn sour
