how nate rob gets 10 games for basically causing things to escalate, and ISIAH FUCKING THOMAS gets nothing when he without a doubt ordered a mugging on the court is ridiculous.
this is why the nba is a joke now and nobody cares.

im glad he wasnt on the original dream team, im happy jordan kept him off.
that stupid press conference after the game, he was laughing like people shuold agree with what he made happen, nobody laughed, everybody was just silent and in shock.
im a super melo fan, i have a huge mancrush on him and id probably blow him, so of course i dont think he deserves 15 games, 7-10 definitely. he fucked up he should pay, but to suspend him for that long when dooling and allen got such less punishments last year, is out of control.
the nba wonders why it keeps losing fans, they wonder why nobody gives a shit anymore. its shit like this.

I'm someone who is fan of people playing their sports in a physical way. If I were a member of the Knicks or any team that was being embarrassed the way they were by the Nuggets I would've done the same thing. Karl has an issue with Isiah because of Brown and was running the score up to embarrass him. In turn the Knicks retaliated. Smith should've gotten up and sucked it up, but he got in Collins' face and then stupid Nate got in his face. Karl was being a douche bag by running the score up, and the Knicks took it a step to far. They all fucked up in a big way.

i don't see how he isn't an innocent victim.
isiah wants to surrender and sit his players, that's fine. doesn't mean karl has to. isiah has enough trouble coaching his own team, he shouldn't be worried about trying to coach somebody else's.
if you don't want somebody running up the score, play defense. if you don't want somebody showboating, take care of the ball. if you want to protect your homecourt, fucking show up to play on your homecourt.
isiah thomas is a fucking joke of a human being.
george karl did absolutely nothing wrong in this situation.

if you are in professional sports you should be able to handle a blow out without resorting to violent fouls.

That was my thing...Isaiah should get as many games as Mardy Collins did, because he is at fault in the same way that he is...maybe more so even.
And Stern is being a pussy about it, first, he says this...
"My concern is actually for the safety of the players and the fans, and when things get out of hand you cannot predict or project where they're going to go," Stern said.
If you feel that way, hit as hard on the guy who started the thing...but then he pusses out by staying this:
but said he relied only on "definitive information" when handing out punishments.
If you can't say definitively that a guy who played 10 seconds of a game was ordered to foul any player going to the basket...you are so out of touch with your sport that you don't deserve to be commissioner

Yeah...I mean, not to say George Karl wasn't being a dick, but, he has the right to play whoever he wants in that point in the game. It's not like the game was still intense, it was just teams running out to ends and dunking...which Isaah couldn't take, so he ordered a foul...

I'm still curious how Jared Jefferies get's 4 games for chasing after someone who sucker punched his teammate. Other than that he was peacemaking the entire time. All of these suspensios/non suspensions suck. So does the NBA.

Yeah...I think because he ended up looking the worst, aside from Melo, because he is running across the court chasing him.
I didn't see him throw a punch, but based on Stern's comments, it seems that anyone that did something to not stop the brawl is being punished, and on a sort of scale of what they did....it's not well done though
