religion forum?

Since you have a politics forum, I think it would also be a good idea to have a religion forum. I noticed that slade wanted to discuss religion with Jared in the general forum the other day, but the discussion didn't really fit there. Would it be possible to have a forum stricktly for discussions/debates about religion?

I think a lot of people would take it seriously. But, at the same time, a lot of people would go in there to bash religion too.

I think it's worth giving a shot. Worst that can happen is it not work out, and removing it from the site.

but it's okay to have a politics forum? c'mon, the two go hand in hand, as far as the way people react to discussions about the two topics. yes, you're going to have some people that don't see eye to eye, and other people that don't take it seriously, but you'll have that in any forum about any topic. i suppose we should do away with the music forum, because people don't all like the same music, or maybe do away with the personal life forum because some kids make fake posts in there and joke around?

Then create a religion thread in the politics forum. The religion forum would recieve so little action that it would be pointless to have it.

it would probably end up a total disaster, and a whole religion forum, in my opinion is out of the question.
maybe a sticky on the politics forum, but that's as far as i would go.

4 out of the top 5 most popular threads in the politics forum all deal with religion in some way or another. so no. it would get action. a lot of it. it'd probably make for some extremely lively debating. (read: people getting angry)
