Daniel Long And Jason Parrish Form New Band

Daniel Long (ex-Race the Sun) and Jason Parrish (ex-Fighting to Forget) have formed a new band and are currently in the studio writing/recording. Expect a name and lineup announcement within the next few weeks.

daniel is a great friend of mine and i am still mouring race the sun. i will cherish that last show in richmond and it ranks up there with some of the best i've ever seen. he mentinoed that this band would be very cool and it would sound like the direction he would have wanted RTS to head in.

Yeah!! That's excellent news. Daniel is an amazingly great guy. Everytime I've ever been around him he's been super nice and I've always loved his music since the first time I heard it. Congrats to his new project, can't wait to see what comes out.

Whats wrong with gatbys gets the green light? For such a young band they have some very original stuff from your typical teenage pop punk band.

and yes I'm aware of All Time Low, I'm not saying Gatsby is better cause they are far from it, but still, elaborate for me.

They are terrible live. Kind of like Fighting to Forget. All time low rules. I saw all time low and fighting to forget in florida together although and both bands were awesome. Jason plays guitar left handed and dosent restring the guitar so he is backwards. So whoever said he sucks probably saw him when he was drunk or something. Either way, I've seen gatsby gets the green light twice and they sucked both times. nice guys though.

I saw them live and they were dead on, rory's singing was great as well, that's what impressed me about them. For being so young they have their live show down perfectly.
