i tried getting it before work today but it took like 8 minutes to try to connect to the store. So i turned it off and left.
i'm on the wii now. it's pretty cool

Nah, you can't really do anything with it right now except browse/watch movies/look at pictures

You put in their code, they put in your code. wait a while. then you can send messages and Miis to each other. Also in the Mii parade random Mii's from other systems will wander from system to system. You have to get a friend code and they have to have yours before you can make contact. So no random meeting people.
How are you guys posting messages? All I can do is enter a title. I can't post an actual message.

hmm, well its my roommates wii so i dont want to mess with stuff too much. if it was a private thing for my mii, then id do it but eh.

Haven't tried it yet, but they have flash games all set to the resolution the wii browser was supposed to run at.
And posting worked. It didn't log me in at first, but once I clicked Forums I was logged in.
Does www.meebo.com work on Wii?

I am not sure as I have yet to try out the browser, but I have heard that www.aimonpsp.com works, which is similar.

Meebo.com doesn't work with Wii for some reason. It doesn't even let you input your username/password. That might be fixed later, who knows.
Wiicade works well and it's awesome. It's a little choppier, but that will probably get fixed in the final version.

I just got it. the only thing i did was watch a video on youtube and listen to a song on myspace just to see if it worked and it worked pretty good. the wii just continues to get awesome

My friend and I tried plugging in a USB Keyboard into the usb slot on the Wii, but it didn't work when typing messages. Has anyone else tried using a usb keyboard? That would make browsing the web alot better, not to mention messaging

can you download music from websites and make custom soundtracks for exite truck, etc.?
I tried downloading music, it didnt work. I got an error about it not knowing what to do with mp3s

Everything works for me on Opera. I turned off the predicitve stuff when I come to enter like .'s and .com etc.
