are they a new band?
Not a band I listen to at all, just heard a few songs, not the worst band, and definitely not close to being the best, or one of the best.
This is me both times i had to endure them live as they were the opening act for a show i attended.

Haha. Shit live or do you just totally hate their music?

Truth be known i really was actually hoping both times i would like them. Honest.
But what i saw and heard live just didn't take me there.
Life In General is an amazing album. One of my favourites.

Out of all the threads in this forum, this is probably the one with the least amount of "fucking idiots".
In fact, i think the only fucking idiots, are the ones saying "This thread is full of fucking idiots".
It's a band thread. People talk about the bands that the threads are about. Cock.

My reasoning for saying this thread is full of idiots is because of the lack of love/respect for MxPx as a band.
MxPx are hands down one of the best pop punk bands to ever bless this so called "scene." Life in General, Slowing Going the Way of the Buffalo are two of the best pop punk albums ever.
I'm not basing anyone for talking about music, that's fine and dandy, but come on now...hate on MxPx? Are you serious?

I love this band, but the best ever pop-punk band that comes to mind is The Movielife.

I didn't say they were the best pop-punk band ever, I'm saying they are one of the best pop punk bands ever.
People may not be absolutely in love with MxPx, but there has to at least be some sort of level of respect or like for what they have done with their careers.

I guarantee there are good bands that you dont respect. Maybe just an educated guess.

They bore me too. My disinterest in them could be partial the fault of a friend who over-played them.

Name them and we shall see...
they're deff one of my favorite bands. my brother started listening to them when I was in like 3rd grade, meaning I listened to them; and I finally saw them down in California this summer. It was awesome.

Ok. I mis-interpreted why you called this thread full of fucking idiots. My bad. I did post saying Life In General was great, and James said their first few albums were good. So i though you were having a go at that. Sorry :-)

Who's seen them live? Being in Australia, they (obviously) tour here way less than the US, so i've only seen them once. Last year with Motion City Soundtrack double headlining. I thought they were a fantastic live band. Played a fair selection from all their albums too, which was good. And i met Yuri. He was the only one that came out. Great guy.

I've seen them live three times, once being an acoustic in store for the rerelease of Let It Happen. I think they're amazing live. They put on an extremely energetic show and play a wide variety of music from all their albums. They're one of my favorite bands to see live.

That would have been great to see them at an acoustic instore. Did they play any older stuff, seeing as it was for Let It Happen? And yeah, i don't see what everyone else is talking about. They seemed perfectly fine live to me. Really energetic, as you said, and so fun.
