….the long awaited, much anticipated, 2003 Absolute Punk Awards .
First a little housekeeping. Here are some things I’d like to say
- People, for some unknown reason, like to put Greg’s name in ALL CAPS
- The only way I could pronounce Bill’s last name is if you ripped out my tongue
- Unoriginal is apparently named “kurtttttttttttha”. Odd….
- When Hannah voted for me, she wrote “Ronin (Colin)”. I’m glad she clarified that one for me :D
- Shannon sent the best email by far, simply because the subject was “HIIIIIII COLIN”, which reminded me of “HIIIIIIIIIII WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYNE”. It actually sent me into hysterics until I realized I was alone and looked like an ass.
- All of the proceeds of this event will go to charity. And by “charity”, I mean my friendly neighbourhood liquor store.
I didn’t vote myself, but whenever there was a tie, I picked the winner. Don’t like it? Go swallow a stick of dynamite.
Also, now that I have all of your email addresses, you’ll be glad to know that you’ve all been signed up for the twice daily “Bestiality Ass Bandits” newsletter. Enjoy
The "Too much free time, no suntan" Award for the person with the most rapid posting skills goes to......GREG!
The "pwned" award for the poster with the best insults goes to........the one and only prick himself...PAT!
The Most Attractive Male Poster Award, with a whopping 3 votes (2 pity votes from girls and one vote from a guy)....ME!
The Most Attractive Female Poster Award goes to.........UNORIGINAL (ERIN)!
(does anyone else see a discrepancy between our "hottest" polls, and these votes?)
The "Einstein" Award for the most intelligent, well-spoken poster goes to....Mr. Smart Pants College Man himself....DEVIN!
The "Simple Plan" Award for the poster with the worst musical taste goes to....ASUBLIMEREJECT!
The "Cred" Award for the poster with the best musical taste goes to....welll kiss my grits....DEVIN!
The "Ghost" Award for the person who always posts (yet everyone ignores) goes to.....ifeelused?? Who the hell is that?
The Camera Whore Award (Female) was a tie, but I had to give it to the plucky canuck herself....LAURA!
The Camera Whore Award (Male), with 100% of the vote, goes to.....SETH!
The "Livejournal" Award for the poster with the most public personal problems goes to....surprise surprise...GREG!!!
The "Anti-Audioboxers" Award (also known as the Lifetime Achievement Award) goes to BILL!
The "newb" Award for the regular poster who still gets treated like a bitch goes to.....I_SPEAK_GHETTO!
The "Buckets of Tears" Award for the biggest emo kid obviously goes to Greg. Did I even need to include this?
The "Plague of the Board" Award for the most vicious, vile, irritating poster...was a tie between Doolittle and Oscarmurder. And since Doolittle likes good music, she gets it.
And now....the awards you've all been waiting for........
The "AP Ho" Award for the best female goes to...........................
HANNAH!
And the "AP Gigolo" Award for the best male poster goes to..........................

The sad thing is that I've never really been treated like a newb bitch until just now, when I won that award. And I'm still not sure if I should be proud or disappointed about this award. What do you guys think? And who the fuck voted for me in the first place?
