When I talk about politics, I am usually playing devils advocate alot of the times. I think that some of the people on this board tend to lean in one direction (heavy left) I enjoy shaking things up a little bit by offering another point of view. Usually Chelsea, people will insult me like they have insulted you, instead of actually addressing the issue. They will usually tell me to see a Michael Moore documentary or read a book written by some radical leftist to get my information. i find this funny. So I usually just try to rattle the cage and expose people for how sheltered they are. That is why I talk about politics.

Because if she wasnt joking then that kind of thinking is horrible for america. I find it ironic that you come in here all self-righteous with your "im going to answer the question" and then in your answer you make huge generalizations about the people on this site and call people who dont agree with you "sheltered". Of course, im sure you'll respond to this with some comment like "your insulting me" or something close to it. Dont come in here on your high horse telling us not to respond negatively to the girl who, if not a complete fake, is asking us why we think.

That said, I talk about politics because I like being exposed to other ideas and find that it helps me to arrive at an opinion on many things that I may not have thought of before, among other reasons.

Seriously...a minor league forum at least...the General forum got one (Music forum)...why can't Sports have one?

Maybe we should send all the rejects to the Education forum, or one that doesn't get used...they can build up credibility and we invited them up
