i havent really worked on this song only wrote it... so there might be a few mistakes here and there

we are free, but are we really?
this will never be answered
just another lie we have been told by our government
this is only true till the next civil war begins
then we will fight for our freedom once again
we cant let go of this
we gotta understand that war doesnt bring freedom
war brings death, blood, agony
war means no one wins
war is all the time
we cant prevent war
only watch in disgust
as your family members fall to the ground
but we gotta get up continue to move
fight for our country, fight for our honor
we are the pawns in war
while the government officials
are the higher power, the higher marquis
their voices ring like church bells in my ears (kill! kill! kill!)
will this ever end?

dont blame the government. be more creative if youre going to write an anti-war song at all

wadejunkie, then who are we suppose to blame ourselves?? the people who go and fight for the country? the only reason they fight is for pride, yet you dont get pride when your dead, when your sitting missing an arm is that pride, the government twists or mind making us think war is good when it really isnt.

the government doesnt twist anything. they think war is good. you think war is bad. everyone has an opinion about it, and theres no one to blame. be more creative about it

I can see the song as more of a poem of some sort. Maybe it just isn't laid out correctly for a song. But it could be.

ya i just found this song agian i improved it but lost what i did. i will redo it and then post it again. if i can come up with something.
