Who's smart about wireless routers??

I figured the Education forum is probably the most appropriate place to post this. There's smart people here, right??

Anyways, Santa brought me a router, a Netgear WPN824v2. The reviews on it are actually pretty mixed, and I'm afraid it's a shitty router. I know there's better routers out there, specifically the LinkSys WRT54G, but does anyone know more about this Netgear router??

The Netgear forums have a bunch of people asking questions and having problems and such. It's just not a very comforting sight.

netgear isnt all bad. the problem i have with mine is that it loses its connection with my comp about 3-5 times a day

Netgear is a fine router. Follow the wizard and you will be fine.
