I'm actually pretty surprised to not find a thread on this band already here. They are probably one of my favorite bands to come out of Chicago. I wish I had got into them sooner so that I could have seen them more by this point, but they were definetly one of my favorite shows of the past year.
I don't really know a good way to describe them, but all the pretentious art school kids around here like them a lot.

Because they're great? I don't know, I guess they're one of the bigger current bands I listen to.

I was just in the shower and I remembered one of the reasons as to why I probably thought they were a lot bigger than they are. They were featured on one of the volumes of the Burn To Shine DVDs. Other bands that were on those were like, Q and Not U, Ted Leo, and Shellac(though I'm not sure how big they are either, ex Big Black).
Good DVDs.
