This song came about after a conversation I had with a very close friend, he had just recieved news that his best friend back home had commited suicide...which was killer news....This is for him and his friend and to anyone else who has ever contiplated it...

"Joe's Song"

Another statistic
On the suicide charts of tommorow
It's all you'll be If you decide to die tonight

Mark one up as another one falls
The days not done 'till five more fall dead
Bleeding on the grass of today
Burning in the memory of tommorow
What more will it take before this all sinks in

The fight is hard, and giving up is easier
One sees the light of tommorow
And the other sees the darkness of today

A mother dries her tears in an empty napkin
Consoled by the preacher
And his supposable present GOD
Th tears will fade, but teh memory stays the same
She just wonders why, he couldn't put up the fight

But the fight hurt, and took teh strength he didn't have
And giving up was so much easier
Missing the light of tommorow
Fading into the darkness of today

WOW, he's just another statistic on the charts today
so mark one up, as he slowly falls
And the days done, when five more fall at his side
She just cries adn wonders why he couldn't put up the fight

The day is done and five more fell
So mark one up 'cause they all fell
Why couldn't they see the light into tommorow
Instead of exploring teh darkness of today

.................................

Never Forget Them, Never Forget Them...

WHAT? it's named what it is because it is a dedication to a friend, why would I change that, the name won't change whether it is good or not

because theres too many songs being named "Someone's Song" and two of the most famous ones are coincidently dealing with suicide ("Ana's Song" by Silverchair and "Adam's Song" by Blink182)

ana's song is about him being anerexic (i can't spell) but not strictly about suicide, as for this song... i don't really wanna dis it 'cause it's so personal but i'm not a fan

i don't know what could make it better 'cause i don't know what makes it so average... there are lies that i like...

Bleeding on the grass of today
Burning in the memory of tommorow

Never Forget Them, Never Forget Them...

but the rest seems quite... forced (?) and, maybe cause i'm not religious, the preacher section is not as good as the rest and the five more fell that is repeated... i know that is a statistic but i don't related this one kid to a whole society of problems really works in this song. the exploration of the personal side is good but trying to fit in the big picture too is a little too much, i'm sorry for ripping on this but you wanted to know...

Go AHead., that's what it's up here for.........And don't worry I'm not religious, that is why it says "supposable present GOD" meanign where is he know that they are all gone, why couldn't he stop them, what good is he?......ya know?
