Just make it so that you can view the file extensions, the .mpeg or .mp3 or whatever. If you don't know how to do that then I'll tell you later. Once you can see the .mpeg, just rename the file with .mp3 on the end instead. When it asks you if you want to change the file extension, say yes. It'll work just just the same as an mp3 now.

You can convert the files using a file converter. Winamp has a way of doing this if you have it. Ask again later if you'd like to know how, because its kinda complicated.

so ya when you go to to save the mp3 on your computer....it will ask you where u would like to save it to and also it gives u the opportunity to change the name of the file. so just simply add the .mp3 file extension and the end of the file name.....for instance: CoheedandCambria- Delrium_Trigger.mp3

if you have winamp, theres some setting that u can change it to where it will be your default program for music......that way u wont have to add the .mp3 extension.

umm when you burn songs onto a cd, you want them as a .cda file. Usually you have a cd burning program that it won't matter what type of audio you have because the cd burner program converts them to cda when you ask it to make you an audio cd. I've seen some people save audio files as is, like mp3 onto a cd (you could fit about 200 on there) and then ask why it won't play in their cd player. I didn't know if you were one of those people.

with some older burning programs, you have to actually convert the mp3s to wav's or it wouldnt work with CD players. Musicmatch Jukebox has a good mp3 to wav converter, Id try that.
