Marathon (Official Thread)

So, I recently rediscovered Marathon's self-titled full length, and decided they deserve an official thread too. They are now broken up, with members in Polar Bear Club and singer Aaron doing a solo project called Attica! Attica!, but this thread is about Marathon. If you've never listened to them, click here (http://www.myspace.com/marathonarmy). One of the best albums of 2005.

Favourite songs by them are "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," "Painting by Numbers," and "Names Have Been Changed (to Protect the Guilty)."

Their lyrics are brilliant too... if nobody responds to this I'm probably going to have to resort to bumping it with lots of lyric excerpts.
