Not a surprise. Hopefully Arizona can get a good coach now and turn around the talent they have.

these guys are an offensive line and a few defensive playmakers away from being a contender.
if they hire the right guy, they'll probably be there in 2 years.

Yeah. The Lions better take him (Assuming the Raiders take Quinn or Calvin Johnson or something like that because, well, they're the raiders.)

Yeah. The Lions better take him (Assuming the Raiders take Quinn or Calvin Johnson or something like that because, well, they're the raiders.)I've got the feeling Arizona wants to trade up. For a team that's only missing 2 or 3 elements to become a good team, they could use a 2 or 3 draft pick. Maybe they'd trade the Lions to get Joe Thomas, who knows.

on the news a week or two ago (local phx news) the cardinals said they are taking Thomas for sure if he is available

i'd like to see that happen as a UW fan, rather than him go to a team on a fast track to nowhere.

Yeah for sure. I want the lions to trade down. I was pissed when they won and lost the first pick since the 1st pick would bring in a little extra. They better trade down for a nice package and some picks.

Yeah, I think every team in the top 5 should take him if he's available.

The problem with this draft is that there are so many great guys for a team looking for defensive help, but very few offensive options other than Brady Quinn and Calvin Johnson (maybe Adrian Peterson). This might be one of the most interesting drafts to watch because other than the first pick overall (I'll be shocked if the Raiders don't take Quinn), none of them are really a lock.

i think there's a solid amount of offensive talent.
quinn, brohm (i think he's coming out), peterson, michael bush is coming out from louisville, calvin johnson, steve smith and dwayne jarrett, greg olsen the TE from Miami who they say is better in college talent wise than kellen winslow and shockey were at Miami, joe thomas, troy smith, ted ginn (he's a project though), matt moore from oregon state is a solid qb and a 3rd-ish round pick, Jordan Palmer (carson's brother), possibly jamarcus russell from lsu, chris leak, drew tate (though, i'm not sure he'll succeed in the nfl), drew stanton.
I mean, it's not loaded like other draft classes have been but it's still a good class, offensively.
