haven't both been contacted and have interviews lined up already, though? And Cowher want's to take a week to decide, so it's possible that both grimm or whisenhunt are gone by then. Although, i think one of them will get it.

that's why the rooneys are going to try to get an answer within a day or two.

i think it'll go to grimm. i wouldn't be surprised to see whisenhunt end up in arizona. if he doesn't end up there and is still avaialable, i'd expect art shell to 'resign' and take a front office position and have that job offered to him.

either way, it sucks to lose one or both of them, but i think they'll both be head coaches next season.

I think Whisenhunt is overrated anyway. I'm not sold on Grimm, but I cant see anyone else coaching this team.
