Kurt Cobain, Sid was great, don't get me wrong, but as a man Kurt did a lot more.

Well I have a lot of respect for Sid and what he did, but I really didn't like the music he made all that much. On the other hand, Kurt made awesome music and it was something I enjoyed. It's a tough call but I'd say I'd choose Mr. Cobain.

I cant actually give you an answer... but can reply with... not like Sid did anything for music either... Nirvana as a whole with Janes Addiction killed hair metal off... thats about it...

The Descendents were influenced by the Ramones and probably the Sex Pistols. So i suppose The Descendents are sad too.
