I think Jason is working on the music, but I hope there is never any way to change the background or put smilies or images, aside from the image gallery.

The background, HTML crap you're wanting to have done I hope never happens. It's already a pain to try and decipher what the hell some people are trying to say on their profile, let alone trying to make out what it says with a sparkly yellow background and bright pink text.

The chance for music is something that may be added. As for "other" customizations, I dunno -- I like the "clean" feel.

One thing you can do, is add music to your journal entries:

Artist Name - Name

There's all sorts of places you can find mp3s online (http://g2p.org/), or upload them (http://www.mp3-upload.net) (be careful for legal reasons) yourself.
