As a person who goes to the Bungie site just about every day I find it hard to believe that this is legitimate. Microsoft can't just say that a random company can make a Halo game without Bungie's approval. Bungie wrote the "Halo Bible," as it is called, and anything Halo related has to go through them. The only way I would even come close to believing this is if the studio was Wingnut Interactive and the game was the game that Bungie has already confirmed Peter Jacksons game studio is working on, but that game hasn't been cancelled. Bungie likes to keep its fanbase informed, and if the game had made it far enough to be fully playable, and even have been made available for people in the media to play, I know for a fact I would have read about it on the Bungie site. The only mention of it I found on the Bungie site was in the Halo 3 forums that some kid posted. No one took him seriously because this is probably fake.

i agree with this statement above, although isnt the poster in this case an actual staff member of ign? in any case, if it had got past the designing phases and pre-production, there is no way we would not have heard something about it. i would love to see it in the future, though.

Still, if there was ever a "Fuck you!" to the PSP, this would be it. Microsoft working with Nintendo just to give Sony the finger. "Hey Nintendo, want to release our most sucessful franchise on your handheld just to piss off more PSP owners?"
