Where We Stand is not the pop-punk YC many people know. That is when Dodson was still behind the Mic, but I prefer Midget Tossing in the pre-Ryan Key YC.

As for the RC Yellowcard, I agree Underdog EP and OFTK are the best albums out there. OFTK was very easily one of my favorite albums of 2001. That and it produced my favorite YC song, Sureshot.

The only song that I can honestly say I liked on Lights and Sounds is Hollywood Died. If they had more songs like that than maybe it wouldn't be so bad. But you can blame them for trying something new. I really liked Ocean Avenue, so if they did something in that vein then I might be for it.

true, two weeks from twenty was a good track from that record, i think.
but overall the record wasnt that great. i expected better .

I first found out about yellowcard from ocean ave. But I bought the underdog EP after. I definetly enjoyed the EP more, even though ocean avenue was still a great CD.

I heard a few songs from lights and sounds and just didn't like the vibe, so i never bought it.

i love yellowcard & even though they cancelled the show in sf (legit reason: ryan's throat).. they're still my favorite band ever.

that was back when ryan had vocal problems. he had a cyst on his vocal cord and got surgery around may i think. he still played a lot of shows, but every once and a while they had to cancel some shows because his voice would go out. i almost gaurntee thats why that show got cancelled.

yeah that happend alot, they had to cancel a whole european tour because of it... I'm really positive he got them b/c of using his voice wrong and maybe smoking, on their L+S dvd, after he would record a vocal track, he would smoke a cig.. that's not smart at all. But its gone now, and I hope he does everything to avoid getting it again.

I've seen them twice. Once was back in '04 and the other was this summer. Yeah, I think they are really good live. The second time I saw them I was in the front row, too. It was awesome.
