This interview was great. I totally agree with everyone that says they don't get enough respect. Just because they became famous more quickly than the norm doesn't mean you should bash them. Is it really their fault that people like them? And I think it's ridiculous that people don't like them just because of their 'teeny-bopper' fans. I'm only 16, and you may want to call me a teeny-bopper just because of my age, but I think that the term is just like a stereotype. I love Panic!'s music and I didn't even hear them on the radio. honestly, if you have something against the band, whether you dont like their music, or the way they dress, then good for you. thats your decision, dont sit here and try to act all hardcore over the internet by saying how much they suck and how other bands are better. and yea, there might be bands that are way better than panic! but this is their first album, they're fame has risen so much, i bet their extremely overwhelmed with all of it. and before you go talkin your shit, put yourself in their position, im sure you wouldnt know how to handle anything their going through any better than they are. wanna get on the subject of how shitty their music is? well then unless you can play an instrument better than one of them, dont talk shit. its that simple. you say "i didnt like them before this, and after reading this interview i hate them even more." then why waste your time reading it? is your life that pathetic you post comments about bands you hate? theres enough negativity in the world, dont be a complete idiot and contribute to it even more. i am a huge fan, i wont lie, and i did go to their san diego show. i will admit that they did do pretty well.. sure the circus act was a little out there, but its not like any other concert ive ever seen, and i must say that made it a concert to remember. as far as the sreaming teenybopper girls goes, i do slightly agree. girls tend to "love" a band based on their looks, but i also beleive there are 13 year old girls who appreciate the music and have the least concern about their looks. their interview did somewhat seem like they were being defensive, but with those questions, i think they handled them pretty well. so what if they sounded like dicks, at least their being real, and not some fake ass band that sits there and puts up a front because they know everyone will read what they say. i honestly appreciate the fact that they're willing to put themselves out on a limb to answer questions that people want answers to, whether the question was dicklike or not, and still be real to their fans. props. i wish panic! the best of luck furthering their career, and i really look forward to their second album and next tour :]

I remember when I was 13, I didn't listen to crappy music just because the singer is hot. Yes, they are all hot, but that's not the point. The point is that their music is good, and inspiring. I come from Norway (by the way) so my English sucks. I think I've learned like 10 new words just by listening to their songs! Yeah well you've gotta admit that the newest video (Build God, Then We'll Talk) ain't much better than those with as you put it "naked women/sluts in 'em! I mean yes, I absolutely adore the video, all of them, and I love the music and I agree that I've learned a lot of english by listening to their songs, and i've now lost the point I was trying to make - oh well!

I saw them back in December, it was really good actually.
It was 7 hours from where I lived, and I went with my mom, haha.
My 45 year old mother loves them, and listens to them non-stop, it's quite amusing.
I've been to 11 concerts, and none of them come close to Panic! At The Disco, I saw The Killers last week, it was almost disappointing, it was my first concert after P!ATD and it just didn't measure up.
Yes, alot of younger girls like them because they find them good looking, but that's not always the case.
When I first heard them, it was via radio, and I'd yet to see a photo. And I liked them, without having seen them, I mean.. Yes, they are attractive and all, but my first thought wasn't 'Oh! Their my new favorite band because their really hot.'

And yes, the reference to Jac Vanek & Audrey Kitching is pretty great.
Although, I actually happen to like the photos Jac takes, I think it's a bit overboard, having myspace fansites for them.
