Okay we'll here's my opinion. I hate the use of curse words in most songs. I like them very sparingly, and you used fuck twice and bullshit once. Unless I feel the word fits, than I don't like curse words in songs, they disrupt the flow and they try to make the song feel hardcore when it's not. Anyways, this piece is cliche, keep writing and branch out.

i agee, they curse word in this seemed forced, or like they are trying to make it a tougher more in your face song, but they are not needed. other then that, i like the structure of the song and the chorus:

seems like there is alot behind it and that it is really personal, which is def. good.

on another note back to the cursing thing. one of my fav. curses in a song (and i hate the song and artist) is the one in that james blunt song. it seemed so fitting and perfect in there.

I'd have to say my favorite use of swearing in a song is in the live version of Mr. Jones on Across a Wire, just because it wasn't in the original song...

Original version is looking at fame from an outsider's perspective, optimistic:
"Mr. Jones wishes he was someone just a little more funky, well when everybody loves you, aw, son, that's just about as funky as you can be."

Live version recorded, the singer (Adam Duritz) has been disenchanted with fame:
"Mr. Jones wishes he was someone just a little more funky, well when everybody loves you, ah, sometimes, that's just about as fucked up as you can be."
