Do you think this will change anyone's mind about him, making him look more compassionate? Seems like kind of a waste of time to me when there's so much important stuff going on back here in the States.

My mind is not changed about him. But I don't think it was unnecessary for him to go there.

Presidents are supposed to do this sort of thing. Its called foreign relations. This sort of thing is expected of the President, I dont see why its such a fuss. Same with the landing on the aircraft carrier. Its his job to make those kind of public appearances, and I bet you that everyone on that ship thought it was a pretty cool thing to have the President land a plane on board your ship and visit you. Except some lefty had to try to "stir up a controversy" and call it pointless.

I dunno but uh, i'm thinkin Bush went to Africa to find which nation had the most oil...hey hey look now, we're all "let's invade Liberia for some bullshit reason".

personally i think it was a good trip to go on but bush has already screwed up the world enough in my eyes.
on a global scale everybody thinks he's the reincarnation of hitler so i don't see a change there either.

You didn't read my entire line. It says "Just Help" at the end. I say, get President Bush out of there and lets fix Liberia. Screw political points.
