Never heard of the other two, but I don't like Relient K. I can't relate to their lyrics at all.

how were they
Relient K owns.
But nobody owns like Five Iron Frenzy...anyone else gonna catch them on their farewell tour? Sad to see them go, but should be a rockin' tour. I'd give anything to be at their final show in Denver.

I hate the label Christian Bands. They are just Christians in a band. They sing about what they want. Anyway some good Christians in a band are Ace Troubleshooter, Relient K (tho their new cd sucks, except for a few songs), Five Iron Frenzy, Anberlin, Further Seems Forever, Copeland (I just found out they were Christian), Strive, and Last Tuesday.

to tell you the truth sometimes its appealing but as soon as you find out what they are talking about it is kind of depressing and stupid religion in music is like putting politics in music what is the point....

just the way they express their feelings really
otherwise no one should be singing about anything

i'm not into 'christian bands' anymore, although i used to really like philmore and some relient k. mxpx is okay...don't like they're sound too much...but i had no idea they were christian. anyway, you were saying about putting politics in music? two words: anti-flag. and they fucking rock. i'm not religious in the least..the whole non-believer thing, i guess...so i get where you're coming from on the whole 'why is religion in music?' but as for politics...hell, they're just expressing their opinions on the government and the way things are run around here. so back off a little and just listen to the lyrics...i guarantee you you'll agree w/ most of what they're saying.

ok you're pretty stupid
having religion in music is the EXACT same thing as politics. stating their views and beliefs. antiflag is doing the exact same thing

Zao, Norma Jean, and Mewithoutyou are all great. FSF is ok... but i had no idea they were a christian band? What exactly constitutes a christian band? I always thought it was abnds that sing about their christianity... just being a christian in a abnd doesnt mean its a "christian band".

wrong. we have a government. it's a fucking fact. they are people. they are real. no one has a fucking piece of shit SHRED of proof that god or buddha or whoever the fuck actually exists. therefore, while they are both beliefs, yes, they are not the 'exact same thing' because one is truthful, based on facts and the other is some imagined up 'soul feeding' myth. end of fucking story.

Dumbass...just because religion cant be proved doesnt mean it has no place in lyrics. Politics and religion are both opinions and ideals and, when sung about, are done for similar reasons. The whole point in writing songs and lyrics is to write what you feel...write your opinions..make known to the rest of the world how you see things. Thats why songs can be about whatever the hell you want them to be about, whether thats "God or buddha or whoever the fuck actually exists". Christian lyrics often relate beliefs and opinions, just as politically driven lyrics tell of beliefs and opinions. "end of fucking story".
