I love the Ronettes... but they are a very dubious candidate for a ROCK N ROLL hall of fame.

And the Cheap Trick snub is truly atrocious. Their album last year was good - they are way more active than most of these bands, and actually have decent recent output.

Those are all good choices, I espically like van halen but it seems like it's a little overdue, but I could be wrong.

Actually, it's 25 years after a band releases their first record. So while it's a few years overdue, there have been some pretty strong classes in the past few years. :shrug:
