If you put on a song by TAI and asked me to guess who it was, I would say FOB. Maybe it's because I'm not a fan and I haven't paid close to attention to either band, so they sound more similar to me than they would to a fan who knows the songs and can tell the difference. If you put on a song by TAI and asked me to guess who it was, I would say FOB. Maybe it's because I'm not a fan and I haven't paid close to attention to either band, so they sound more similar to me than they would to a fan who knows the songs and can tell the difference. I personally can't and it has nothing to do with me being "deaf." They just sound a lot alike to me.

Is that limited experience enough to make that stand on then? Of course, someone did tell me that I should check out this "amazing acoustic band called Rise Against" a couple years ago, so I guess I should just assume less, but being a huge fan of Almost Here, I was disappointed that someone would call them a ripoff and possibly not giving them a chance on first impressions. Do me a favor and try to listen to it through sometime, just once, if you're a pop-punk fan. I think it has a lot of offer.

I've listened to the album - I only like two songs, the rest bore me. I never feel the need to listen to them like I do with some other pop punk songs though. I'm not big on pop punk, but if it's good, I'll enjoy it. TAI just doesn't interest me.
