as they flash in my eyes

i open my door

then ill be back inside

its a short way home,

im walking in through the door

city and a stoplight
i glance at you
i really love the contrast
and the shadows
sitting in your drive way
the cars in park
ill lean over and kiss your cheek

ill smile and the words stumble out
"i guess we're home now"

"lets stay for a while"
with my arms around you

we'll sleep straight into morning

dude, totally cheesy. i wrote that a long time ago, but i think the final product with the music and all is just a good pop punk song. plus i have this awesome solo in it.
