I think its so stupid that people say somebody sold out just because they are on MTV. It just means people requested to see the video, the band didnt do anything different. Unless they changed their style or something, they didnt sell out.

wtf. they never sold out. Simple plan and GC were always bubblegum punk so there was nothing to sell out. they were just sold from the start.

NFG are still rockin and dont sound to much different.

I never liked GC or Simple Plan's music. I like a couple NFG songs, but the new stuff isn't my thing.

i think good charlotte's stuff is a guilty pleasure to me but i don't think they suck because they're on mtv. i think they suck because, well, they suck. simple plan i've never liked and if they are on mtv or not doesn't matter. they just suck as a band and at life. new found glory put out a couple decent cd's which i still enjoy, i just don't find their new one worth listening to at all.

some people are wierd like that, i mean a friend was a huge fan of the used and when they did that spankin new bands week on trl, and used was on it, he hated them. but i agree i liked the to begin with, and i could care less if those bands were on mtv or not. and i really dont belive any of those bands sold out. i think the whole concept of selling out is stupid to begin with. thats all i gotta say.....

Do you realize how many bands have been at it for over a decade without getting any attention? How many musicians who have to work real jobs so that they can afford to pay their pays? I'm tired of this "they deserve it" shit. No one deserves to be successful. People don't listen to music because a band has been working hard for years, they listen because they like what they hear.

I remember hearing stuff from GC's first album and I recall it being the same as what they do now. I never cared for NFG either. I just don't like what they do.

simple plan, good charlotte and new found glory all rock. who cares if they "sell out"....(i dont..) they are still great bands and ive seen them all 3 in concert and they put on some great shows.

I don't give a shit what bands are on MTV. Some of Simple Plan's and GC's stuff is a guilty pleasure. But as far as my favorite bands, like the used, for example, i could care less if they're on MTV. NFG, though, I thoroughly enjoy.

No, they really don't. They have some of the stupidest lyrics I have ever heard.

I don't care if a band I like gets played on MTV or MuchMusic. I'm happy for them because they will probally build a bigger fan base and get more recignition(sp?)
