haha i won a contest on facebook and won the cd, and i got it yesterday


i love it and keep listening to it, but the only thing that upsets me is the 3 consecutive slow songs at the end...if they split them around the album more, then i think i would enjoy it more

thats true, but Self Against City's songs arent as upbeat...theyre are some fast paced ones, but most are midtempo

this is a decent cd it is real poppy. Becoming a monster is a great song but all the rest was mediocre. def worth checking out

here's the thing with me:
i work for a record label and i like alot of bands. what makes a cd good for me, is if the band's stage performance is cool, if they're nice people...etc. alot of the bands im listening to now [which include self against city] i know or have met. i really like their new album. i got lucky when i went and saw them with hellogoodbye in san diego. jonathon [the lead singer] gave me their cd. i really loved their stage performance - blew me away.

yea i saw them at the my space secret show with hellogoodbye two weeks ago. They were soo good. they have awesome stage presence. very impressive!!
