Reeve Oliver (http://www.myspace.com/reeveoliver) have posted a message on myspace.
just wanted to give everyone an update on what is going on with our band. i know a lot of you have been asking about our new record, so here is the story. right now we are looking at an early summer release. we have a release date, but i don't want to say what it is because it is most likely gonna come out sooner than the date we have. yes, thats still months away, and that is a bummer. but we(and hopefully you) want this thing to come out at the right time with the right push behind it from our label, and that unfortunately won't be till after spring. BUT...that doesn't mean there will be nothing until then. we are currently working on something to put out before the record. i can't totally give away all the details(mostly because it's still up in the air as to what it will be) but there will be new music coming out in the next month or so, hopefully paired with CD release shows in San Diego and a west coast tour, because we miss you portland, san francisco, seattle, orangevale. we also are working on a tour that will take us away from the pacific ocean, because we miss all of you in cleveland, hartford, denver, detroit, and so on.

we also are gonna try and get better about changing content on this page, blogging, adding videos, writing you guys back, adding new songs. i am adding a demo of a song that didnt make it on the new record in the song player called "drowned"(those of you who ended up with the xmas cd will have this track). let us know what we can do to make this page better. 2007 will be ours, yours and reeve's.

happy new year and lots of hugs,

sean and reeve oliver

They were great when they opened for Finch here in Boston back like 2 1/2 years ago. Then they seemingly fell off the face of the Earth. Hopefully the album will see release sometime this year.

Agreed. Does he still have the Ninja Turtle kit?
This band has never really impressed me.

great album...not amazing live, but not bad.
their bassist doesn't really fit in with the other two.

Sean played guitar in the whole "middle" era of Dogwood, from like their self-titled release through the Matt Aragon release. He would play that sweet, shiny green guitar he has and do backup vocals. he was just too talented to remain a backup.

I also LOVE his co-production work on the Lyndsay Diaries 2nd album The Tops Of Trees Are On Fire. wow. i might have a lil crush on Sean, just realizing it.

ahhh... the matt aragon cd. yeah.. i dated a girl who made out with matt. lol.

sean is pretty good live. saw him play an acoustic show with the singer from switchfoot a couple of years back. sean blew him out of the water. can't wait to hear a new album.
