Well today is the official release date of one of the biggest and most anticipated expansions ever.. Anyone pick it up yet? My family back home preordered it for each of us, so I should be getting my collector's version in the mail in a couple of days. I can't wait!

the game is sort of frustrating so far, w/ all the lagging (which I expected) i'm just not used to the grinding and race to level, plus everything is spread out and unfamiliar, oh well i think i'll start liking it once i get into it more

Esentially yes. It moved the level cap from 60 to 70 and you have to be at least 58 to get into Outland. Supposedly the time it takes to get from 60 to 70 is like going 1 to 60 one and a half times. So yeah it's gonna take a while.

I know it's for sure going to be in the game, it's just that nobody's sure where or how you get it yet. And of course it's not going to be AS good as in the show.

i held a copy in my hand last night for 20 minutes before deciding not to buy it. i want it, but again, no characters even close to 60 means I cant really use it.

However, I did take part in a crossroads raid last night and pwned a pair of level 15 blood elves.

The guy that hit 70 cheated with his whole guild behind him, haha. I knew there was no way you could just do it alone. What happened was that he had 35 guys behind him, he runs up and tags a bunch of mobs, then let his group kill them all. So all he had to do was run ahead and tap everything and still get credit/xp for the kill when his whole group did the work. Interesting.

there are enough people who do that now. they call it "power-leveling"

meanwhile i spend 2 hours just to get the last half of 32 with a full rested bar...screw that ;p

easiest way to level: find an instance and run it as many times as you can.

So re-addicted to the game right now. It's awesome being able to do new things with the only character I have that I actually like again. The new environments are beautiful...hats off to Blizz's art team.

My (real life) friends and I are takin it pretty slow, not tryin to powerlvl or anything, just playing the game like it's meant to be played.

I had a level 59 and I got tired of doing the same runs over and over again and not getting the shit I needed, so I quit, and then sold my account to a friend for $140. I do miss this game, though.
