I like the idea, there are a lot of people who would love to argue about sports (myself included) and this would give us a place to do it. Good suggestion.

Brandon is an admin. He has all the powers that Tate does. Therefore he should be able to make a new forum....but he'll probably need Tate's consent.

it's all up to opinion, but i think baseball is the worst sport ever. the only credit i give it's players is that it's ridiculously difficult to hit. Otherwise, it's barely physically taxing. Hockey, on the other hand...

don't worry so much about where the puck is...just find the player that the other team is trying to kill...and that the camera is focussed on...that's the guy who has the puck and that's all that matters. Plus, the puck being so small adds to the difficulty and greatness of the sport.

shit we should have a baseball forums since it's the heart of baseball season. baseball kicks ass but i didn't like the stipulation of the all star game this year it's uber stupid.

as much as i love the sport, that could be the stupidest thing i've ever read..."find the player the other team is trying to kill"? so many great things happen away from the puck...trust me, if you really watch hockey like you say you do, then you would know that that's not all that matters...and the puck is the perfect size for the sticks...so it's not super small where it would make it anymore difficult than it already is, which is very difficult, but that's besides the point. my point? you're an idiot.

what? i'm trying to convince one of the hockey haters not to hate it so much...if i say don't focus on the puck...which is also where a majority of the action is...will he listen...doubt he listened anyway...and i do watch the sport...more than porn. ya the puck is also that size for reasons other than making the sport harder than it already is...if all that matters were where the puck is...hockey would obviously be horrible...that's why sports like baseball make me vomit...it involves two, maybe three people (pitcher, catcher, batter) until someone hits the ball...what else is great about hockey is that it's constantly in motion...best contact sport ever. and i'm not an idiot, so fuck off.
Hockey is definately cool, but Football is the best contact sport ever.

if we're speaking about the contact itself, then definitely not...in football, there's TONS more contact, but that's right off the line...there's not even that much room to gain speed...and i know the guys are a lot bigger, but still...speed is what makes big hits...a kid who i played hockey with, who was also all county on our football team said this: "in football, there's a lot more contact, but in hockey the hits are harder."

ya i definitely agree there...in football some of the big linemen can get moving then it's like a train...but hockey has it's share...and getting squashed between like the boards and 6'5" lindros will kill you, especially when he's coming in at a high speed...then again....lindros will probably get a concussion from it somehow.

i'm working on trying to make a new forum for Sport's on my own. If I can't do it that way, i'll talk to Tate when i can get ahold of him and give him all your requests for a Sports forum. don't worry, it should go through.
