The musicians forum needs a moderator

lately the forum has gotten quite a bit of spam/advertisements, since the musicians forum is my favorite forum and pretty much the only one I post to this angers me. so I would really like a moderator, I nominate patrickhowell and I'm sure most musician forum readers will agree with me.

I check that forum occasionally but I don't have any powers there. I don't think Jason really looks at this forum very often, so a PM to him or something would probably be more likely to get some results.

He's told me that he reads all his PMs, but he's also only responded to maybe one of seven or so I sent him. I'd guess if he doesn't respond it might just be because he doesn't think it's necessary.

I know he just added me as a mod about a week ago, so I'm not sure how likely he would be to add anymore, but then again it's a different set of forums, so who knows.

Another good idea would be to report any spam posts (click the upper left corner of the post) and someone on staff will see and be able to take care of it.

Well Jason did get the PM and posted about it in the Staff Forum. He gave the mods power in there and told everyone to make sure they look out for things like that.

I know I'll check in on it, being a musician myself haha.
