quickly, a press kit is basically a prmootional tool that bands send out to introduce themselves to either labels or I guess radio stations? I'm pretty sure it's got pics, a bio and samplers

i think if you send it a press kit its cliche

but if you don't its still cliche because your painting an "anti-conformist" image

so if you really want to take the time, just use live photos (especially crazy wacky ones) and just lay down the basics (where yr from, what genre you play etc. etc.)

my buddy's band is actually putting one together

You wanna stick your biog and then individual band biogs as well colour pics or black and white it dont actually matter some live and some not live they like o see your face and a sample or two on disc with you contact info on it Dont send anymore than 10 seconds of each song and just send the chorus cos if its a label they wont listen to anymroe than ten seconds of the track anyway
