I don't know what happened to the sound during Miss Murder, I almost felt bad, but they still played well, just the damn sound guy kept trying to find the right mix to balance out the mic going out.

it was a cool two songs, pretty standard...

BUT, i have to say that I was disappointed in the fact that Hunter wasn't playing the bass in the during the verse of the first song at all. It's one of the very dynamic partys of the song, and gives it momentum going into the chorus, and it was not there. it just made the music rely solely on the guitar and davey, which was ok, but kinda lacking in comparison. don't get me wrong, i love AFI, but Hunter is too good of a bass player to not participate during that part of the song.

just my opinion.

i think it's funny how a band like hellogoodbye gets so much crap for using background tracks and loops (when they obviously need it for their music...it's just supposed to be there) and then afi comes along and uses ovbious vocal tracks and loops...and no hateful fingers are pointed and no debate rages. maybe it all got settled with hellogoodbye and i just missed it. dang.
