You can find the lineup for Coachella (http://www.coachella.com) 2007 below. Bjork will be headlining April 27th, Red Hot Chili Peppers the 28th and Rage Against The Machine on the 29th. Tickets are $250 for a 3-day pass and the pre-sale is here (http://coachella.ducatking.com/), password Roxanne. Regular tickets go on sale this Saturday through Ticketmaster. Besides RATM, the other notable reunion will be The Jesus And Mary Chain, performing on the 27th.

to be honest, alphabetical order is quite nice.
the lineup has some wow-ing acts and some not so well known acts.
always a pleasant mix.

Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but it's Coachella and you have to be into most of the bands for it to be worth it. Pretty good line up though. Still deciding if I'm going.

I'm driving out there from Southern Illinois. I calculated that it should only cost about $300 round trip for gas, split up by howevery man people I pile in my Honda.
I can't fucking wait.

as I've said, I calculated it, and to drive from Southern Illinois(near St. Louis) where I live, it it 1900 miles there, 1900 back(3800 miles round trip) in a car that gets roughly 25mpg, that's about 112 gallons of gas. At $2.50/gal(right now in IL it's $1.84, but I'm unaware of prices across the country, so I tried to aim high), that's $380 for gas the entire trip. Split that 3 ways and I'm heading to Cali and back for about $125. Add on $300 for ticket/camping(camping pass is oddly enough NOT included in the $250, it costs $35), and I'm gonna see Rage for $450 plus food costs.

I checked into 4 plane tickets and a hotel, and the best decent package I saw was $320/person round trip + 4 nights in a hotel. Then I have to either rent a car(not cheap) or get a ride out to Indio each day from the hotel(even more not cheap). Plus I'd rather camp, it builds on the experience, and I'll see a ton of awesome stuff going on with all the crazed hippies.
