Chords are played the same way whether it's left handed or right handed.

Only time it changes if if you're playing left handed on a right handed guitar or vise versa. Duh.

Kris plays lefty on a right-handed guitar. That's why his style is so unique. He played bass for the Ataris for a while early on.

And for those still confused, as previously noted, Kris is the hippie-ish dude in the background with the long hair... Playing lefty... On a bass...

little bit of KNOWLEDGE for y'all.

The ataris formed around 1996 when Kris Roe and Jasin Thomason (or Thompson, can't remember right now) started recording songs on a 4 track using a drum machine. Kris Roe was the bassist and sang, Jasin was the guitarist.

They got signed to kung fu when Kris gave his demo to Joe Escalante of the Vandals. From there, they formed a band and recorded "anywhere but here."

glad to see the person who started this thread gave appropriate credit...clearly withholding ap's reputation as a very respectful site. to whoever started this thread, please change the embedded videos to youtube links (i disabled embedding and have never used youtube so i dont know how you did this). yeah if you dont, ill just take down the videos and not post the rest of the tape or the other couple tapes. yep

Thanks for the videos. And you successfully disabled the embedding so you have to click the edge of the video and load the full page for it to work.
