Ok...so Red Hot Chili Peppers is a phenomenal band, I don't know what possessed them to pick such an awful cover for their greatest hits album.

I don't know why, but I hated the Greenday, American Idiot cover. It was so popular when it was released, but everytime I saw it, it annoyed the hell out of me. It was just so plainly made.

I love the artwork to all my favorite albums. I think that bands used to really put a lot more time into artwork especially cause they were going to be pressed on big 12x12 things for vinyl. Artwork isn't everything but most great bands have good artwork on their albums.

^Yeah, it sucks because it looks like a lame metalcore album, but it's one of the best kick-in-the-nuts hardcore records ever.

Also, though it was their "sell out" album, it's one of the better pop-punk releases in recent history and all we get is a fucking donkey leather bound photo album.

If it's ceremony, then yes "Violence, Violence" is a horrid album title (but a great record, before Donny's fist meets my face)

I don't know if this cover is necessarily bad, but definitely not as good as the album.

yea that ALK3 cover just makes me want to kinda throw up a little bit. pretty gnarly. i love Mew's "And The Glass Handed Kites" album. but dude the cover make me just go "whaaaa?" check it...
