i dont think id call russian circles doom. but they rule none the less.

and which Sunn O))) album? "Black One" or the "Altar" (Boris collaboration). regardless, they both rule. I can point you in the direction to "Black One" 2xLP if needed. It's probably the nicest record I own (not rarest/most valuable, but just straight up NICE.)

yeah...definitely not doom metal. but really excellent none the less. i saw them with minus the bear last spring, and they put on a great show. seeing them with pelican would be downright amazing.

i listened to this EP on my way home last night. its so amazing. i want to see them live; i missed them on the minus teh bear tour. gah.

yeah they're not really doom metal, but a majority of the doom metal kids like them.

and yeah lawofaverages im thinking of picking up the vinyl version of Black One, some nice stoner afternoons await me.But yeah where can i pick it up, i know Interpunk.com has it but i hate that site, so i was looking for a more d.i.y. site or something that has a flat shipping rate

Started checking out these guys today. I had planned on doing it or a while, but did so all of the sudden since they're coming to Tucson in a couple weeks, and the show's only $8.

Finishing up 'Station' right now, about to go on to 'Geneva' (albums).
