i think the best live bands ive seen are as follows
1.new found glory
2.rufio
3.the ataris

The Ataris are definately #1 for me
Rufio is up there.
TBS, even though they don't play a steller show, the emotion in the crowd makes their show amazing.
Pennywise rocks the house too.

brand new was really good, TBS didn't sound too great but their stage show and crowd control were great...Thursday was awesome, the bouncing souls are always killer, thrice really kicked ass, pearl jam was really good too.

I saw sleater-kinney when they opened up for pearl jam at madison square garden a week or so ago, and didn't enjoy them too much...i mean to each his own, but i thought the vocals sounded horrible.

WOW! I've seen all of those bands and they all put on excellent shows. Especially the Ataris and RUFiO. and RUFiO has soo much energy!! damn. Taking Back Sunday puts on a kick ass show, when i did see them. YELLOWCARD!!!! Simply amazing, the violin is fucking sweet! My Chemical Romance is awesome live as well!
