there is no way they would make "kill caustic" a single. the point of radio play is to expand the band's mass appeal and making that song a single would do nothing but scare off people they have been trying to listen to them. people can deal with a little screaming, but that song starts off with it, so it will turn people off instantaneously.

not saying it's a bad song, but the label is in charge of picking a single and there is no way they are going to pick one that would scare the vast majority of the population. it would hinder their sales and all major labels are sales driven.

i think summer shudder is a good option. it's one of my favorites on the record.

I actually got this cd yesterday, and I like just two songs on it so far, those being "Kill Caustic" and "Summer Shudder." And since the first would never be released as a single, I'm glad it's the second. (For the record, both "The Killing Lights" and "The Missing Frame" aren't bad, and I think this will grow on me in time.)

Im not really a big fan of the song but I guess it would work well as a single. That or The Missing Frame which is my favourite on the album. They better make that a single....oh wait. i forgot about 37mm. That could do amazingly as a single, it would really broaden the audience and i like it. :)
