I think the video is kick ass! I've seen it played on MTV, MTV2, and Fuse. So Brand New is going to be fucking HUGE! I really like the part towards the end where Jesse is playing with the band but then he kinda fades to invisable. Good Video.

Yeah, the vid is pretty cool --- it kills "jude law and a semester aboard" --- I have a feeling they're going to be a lot more known because of this vid.

as much as i hate to act like this... i dont want Brand New to get big. it's selfish i know... oh well i think they will get big. they are that good. and they deserve anything they get. their music is so great.

I agree with you. But I noticed that before Taking Back Sunday had there fight, they were getting bigger. I saw them in Rollingstone and mentioned on MTV. Since they were taken out for a little while I think Brand New is taking there spot. Maybe its just me, but thats what I think.

Someone on IMX on Fuse was talking about how they sound like TBS. Which makes sense seeing their history. But I think the rest of the cd doesn't sound like TBS at all. Just on their choruses and stuff. But yeah the video kicks ass even though the song is one of my least favorite on the cd.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I got a burned copy of the disc "Deja Entendu" a month before it came out and I didnt tell any of my friends because it was my gem. and if BN gets big then I fear that the 11 year old kids will be saying Brand New was always thiers to begin with.

This is the most emotional video I have ever seen. I could serious start bawling watching it if I were in the right mood. I would also say it was my favorite, but the "Cute Without The 'E'" video is fantastic.

Since I didn't see anyone post the this, the video is about a car crash which involves Jesse and his girlfriend.

Oh man. I absolutely loved the video. I've been watching it over and over on mtv.com.... Probably the only good reason to check out that site, anyway :p I've been mooching off of Rutgers' blazing fast internet and watching the streaming video in the computer lab before class. I think my dialup internet connection would shit itself if I tried watching online videos. Yeah, so anyway, "The Quiet Things..." is such an awesome video. Later.

Yeah, and Jesse died while his girlfriend lived. The part where Jesse was kneeling in front of the candles was the best scene in the whole video.

i've been a fan of brandnew for a long time and the video is great. it's just sad that such a good band is porbably going to end up being mainstream. another one of punk's bands is going to be lost to spoiles preps driving aroung in daddy's car, blasting it on the radio like the newest trend. damn preps

Yah I love Brand New and I guess they could make their own Genre(mainstream emo) and I'm glad they haven't gone to a major label yet(Triple Crown is what they are on now). I'm happy for them and I hope they go far but I hope that they don't turn into some poppy sell out band. Most likely if they leave Triple Crown they will go to Epic like Vendetta Red....

Okay, I absolutely love this video and song, but I don't understand why people don't get the video? It's not that hard of a concept. You know he's dead through out the whole thing because he fades in and out and is kinda flashing/see through. I watched that dashboard's fav videos and chris was saying how much he loved the vid, but there was some special twist to the ending... what twist? you see him dead on the asphault? you must be blind if you couldn't notice him dead through out the whole song. I noticed that the first time i saw it.. I don't know, but whatever.. I love the video. and as for brand new being in their own genre of music.. don't you think they're emo? I love the new Brand New video... it's kinda makes me sad because I've been through a car crash recently and lost some peers. Their new CD is really good. It's helping me get through some hard times now. I can't wait till I get to see them October 4th.

In the video he is the one who dies, because he keeps appearing to the girl but then fading away.... then at the end of the video he's lying on the ground. Anyway, I read about the video somewhere, I can't remember where, and that's the basic meaning according to the band.
